CalWorks is a web-based application designed from the start to streamline your laboratory's business practices, improve data collection and record-keeping, and enhance reporting and customer data access, while providing an ultra-thin workstation client capable of running on a variety of platforms. Developed using industry-standard JSP tools enhanced by the STRUTS development environment, the CalWorks application can reside on any Web server configured to support JSP, and can be accessed from any workstation with a supported browser installed. CalWorks can be run from Windows, Pocket PC, Macintosh, and Linux machines. CalWorks can be hosted locally on a laboratory's internal Web server; remotely at a laboratory's ISP; or remotely on Norvada's Web servers.
